How long does obtaining a permit take?
Every city and county varies and we depend on them — for the most part, around three months. This applies to all alcohol permits, including change of locations.
How do I know if I qualify for a permit?
To qualify, all owners must be at least 21 years old, legally in the US, have a Social Security number, have no felonies within the past 5 years, not have had a TABC permit canceled, and not have an ownership interest in any other business in a different tier that holds an alcohol permit.
How do I know if my location qualifies?
The best way is to reach out and we'll look at the location for you. Your site cannot be within 300 ft of a school, church, or daycare. In Houston, only a restaurant can be located within 1,000 ft of a school.
How much is a permit?
